- 5th Annual Auction & Flea Market -

The
5th Annual FSFA Club Auction and Flea Market will be held Tuesday March 23rd, 2010 at the Veterans' Memorial Center on Merritt Island, 2 blocks south of Route 520 on Sykes Creek Parkway. The Auction starts with review of items beginning 6:30-7:00 PM. The auction this year is held in conjunction with our March Club Meeting (4th Tuesday of the month). Link to Auction Item List

Don't miss this great bargain and shopping fun opportunity!  Net proceeds go to the FSFA, a non profit organization for use in our efforts to preserve and improve the area fishing grounds and to educate both adults and children about our aquatic and marine resources.

Attention FSFA Members:
This is a great chance to step up and help the club grow. We need our members to contact businesses in their area, businesses or individuals they might know for the purposes of obtaining items for the upcoming auction. Use our foldout Club Brochure to help introduce yourself and the FSFA. Items do not need to be fishing or outdoor sports oriented. Such items as restaurant gift certificates, service gift certificates, jewelry, art, etc. will also appeal to a wide audience. When you do obtain an item(s), please be sure to notify auction committee chairman Bill Kosiba at kosibwj@bellsouth.net  such that we ensure proper accreditations. Be sure to inform the donor we will place their logo and link to their website (if applicable) on the main FSFA Sponsors page on our website (fsfaclub.org).

For the Flea Market part of this, it is up to our members to donate items they want to sell.  100% of these proceeds go to the club.  Again, the items do not have to be fishing related. Just let Bill Kosiba or Scott Chandler know a brief description of the item(s) you are donating.

We intend this to continue as a yearly event and remain a source of extra money for the club. Proceeds from this auction will be used for donations made by the club to various charities (such as Brevard County Schools, Snook Foundation, RFA, CCA, IGFA, etc.), artificial reef program(s) and as a means to attract higher profile guest speakers for our meetings and hence even more club growth.

Please contact Bill Kosiba kosibwj@bellsouth.net to let him know what items you have or can obtain with their descriptions and minimum bid prices so he can maintain an updated list prior to the auction.

Lets all get on board with this key effort and help benefit the club and those the club supports.  See everybody Tuesday the 23rd at the Auction!
