Atlantic Bonito vs. Little Tunny Discussion & Ruling

Starting in 1969, the FSFA maintains Club Records by weight (pounds and ounces) on the 49 Saltwater and
16 Freshwater
citation list species across the six (6) Tackle Classes plus Junior and Women. In order to qualify, fish have to be caught by a member in good standing, officially submitted for entry in the points database, weighed on a certified or reliable scale, preferably witnessed and with the entry accompanied by a photo. The FSFA reserves the right to challenge entries where any one of the entry parameters may be in substantial question.

The records file is typically updated each January for entries made through Dec 31 of the preceding year. Currently, a new entry must exceed the existing record by at least one (1) ounce to become listed.

The format of each record entry is as follows:

Name of Specie
Tackle Lbs/Oz Angler Location Date
Fly xx/xx last, first Xxxxxxxxx xx/xx/xx
Ultralight
Spin Cast
Plug Cast
