The Florida Sport Fishing Association (FSFA) is a family oriented, non-profit organization
formed of individuals and families sharing a common love of sport fishing,
the associated outdoor resources, the local area communities where we live
and the idea that through education of both children and adults, the sport
itself and the resources upon which it depends can be preserved and
advanced.More specifically ....... |
- Provide the means and environment to promote and
improve the sport fishing education level and capability of club members
and of the community in general.
eg: FSFA point fishing award & scoring system, annual
Port Canaveral Kids Fishing Clinic

Kids Fishing Clinics with the
FWCC and other sponsors, sport fishing related seminars &
presentations several times per year open to members and the public

- Initiate, sponsor and execute fundraising
activities centered in the sport fishing arena to help provide the
monetary resources necessary to carry out our goals and objectives.
eg: Annual FSFA Auction, Annual FSFA Offshore Slam
Fishing Tournament

- Initiate, organize, sponsor and implement,
working with local jurisdictions, artificial reef deployments in the
local marine area. Work with the
Canaveral Port Authority,
USCG,
FWCC
and local firms and governments.
eg: Humminbird Reef, Shelby Lee, Lois DuBois,
Damocles, Titan 1 & 2, FSFA Site 2 Culverts
